Sarah-Kate has been describe as a firecracker with a short fuse. Her temper gets the best of her when she‘s around idiots and gets frustrated. She couldn‘t put a stopper on it when she was little. But as she‘s grown older she‘s learned control over it, though she still has a slight temper problem. Along with her temper she was violence issues, since she’s grown up playing sports and around guys she has learned to punch people in the arm or side if they bother her too much.[/size][/font]
Sarah-Kate also has her soft side, despite being a tomboy and having such a temper, she likes flowers and shopping and even gets all giggly like normal girls. Especially around boys she likes. Although boys don’t tend to like her for having a small chest and being so rough. She tries to pretend that she isn’t such a tomboy but her habits get the best of her.
Sarah-Kate loves being needed and helping others, being useful to them. She has a license to practice first aid and aims to practice sports medicine so that she can help people with sports injuries like her. Medicine has fascinated her since she was little, and she loves practicing it.
Sarah-Kate doesn't really mind her dreams, she likes that fact that if that really was her she'd been totally kick-ass and amazing. She doesn't really care about them, she finds them soothing as she dreams at night.

You know the story, you know, about those summer nights? It was a summer night when Miri Springfield got herself drunk at seventeen and hooked up with a faceless man at the beach. She never saw the man again, never even knew his name, but she got pregnant because of it. Miri contemplated abortion, especially when her parents told her that she would no longer be their daughter anymore if she kept it. But as she walked around town, thinking of what she could do, she saw other women around, either pregnant or with children, looking so happy. So she decided to keep her unborn daughter.[/size][/font]
True to their word, Miri's parents kicked her out of the house once she told them she decided to keep the baby, and for three months she lived bouncing between friends until she earned enough money at the Green Dragon to get an apartment. It was late may by the time Miri had her baby girl, a little pink baby with a shock of luminous red hair.
Her name was Sarah-Kate Rose Springfield, and a combination of her mother's two best friends, and the middle name from the color of her hair and a red rose. She was a fussy baby, never wanted to be left alone or be quiet. Whenever she was put in her crib and her mother was out of site, she would cry so loudly until she was back in her mother's arms. Sarah-Kate eventually grew out of this phase, but Miri did not. As her daughter went off to elementary school, she began feeling empty nest syndrome. So she got a job at the elementary school coaching soccer.
That was how Sarah-Kate got her love for sports, and while her mother stayed at the elementary school coaching soccer, Sarah-Kate stayed with her sports, playing every sport she could get her hands on. She played all the way up until her eighth grade year when she was on the JV volleyball team and dislocated her knee while going after the ball.
It took a full year and a half before Sarah-Kate could play another sport, she had to have surgery and even then she couldn't play volleyball and had to where a brace for precaution. But she marched on, triumphing her ability to endure the pain and keep playing sports.
Now it's Sarah-Kate's senior year and she's hoping to get a scholarship to Conway to study Sports Medicine.
